Extractions
When a tooth has a large cavity or fracture that makes the tooth unrestorable/unsavable, then the tooth needs to be extracted. The doctor will numb the patient to make sure the patient is very comfortable during the procedure and remove the tooth without any discomfort for the patient. Usually, the extraction site will heal within 2-3 weeks.
Replacement options for the missing tooth will be either a dental implant or a dental bridge.
